Old Dogs Teach a New Lesson About Canine Origins

Old Dogs Teach a New Lesson About Canine Origins.

Dog domestication pushed back to 19,000 to 32,000 years ago, most likely from a now extinct population of European grey wolves. When I first started reading the literature, the common belief was that dogs were 5000 to 8000 years old and had originated in Asia.

I think that given time and research we will eventually see that dogs were there with us when we made the cultural jump some 40,000 years ago.
