Air travel is not a viable solution for regional travel. We need buses and trains, instead we subsudize planes.

The small city where I live released climate change goals in June, the same week they cut our already anemic bus lines, all while a huge airport expansion is underway. And they did it without irony. It would be comical if the consequences were not so dire.

Now multiply their actions by 10,000, and that is the state of our nation.
