Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton register net negative ratings in double digits, indicating the front-runners for each party’s presidential nominations are viewed negatively at historic levels, according to a new CBS/New York Times poll.
What the article doesn’t mention is that Trump’s negatives are improving. Meanwhile, Hillary’s–although still slightly better than Trumps–have been steady for the past 2 years. If trends continue, Trump could be viewed more favorably than Hillary by November. Either way, barring a meteor strike, we will be electing a president that more than half the population do not like.
