What is it about being a computer user that makes one unable to adapt to new things?  First there were wails and gnashing of teeth when Windows XP was superseded by the slightly different Vista, then again when KDE moved to the ever so slightly different 4.0.  People locked theri bloody fingernails into the past in a vain attempt to stop the future when Gnome went from 2.x to 3.0—and now it is happening again with the minor differences in Win7 and 8.

You can’t stop the future, if you can’t adapt, then you really ought to get out of the way.
